Disodium 5'-ribonucleotide, popularly known as I+G (E635), is an FSSAI approved flavor enhancer which is synergistic with glutamates in creating the taste of umami. It is a 50:50 mixture of disodium inosinate (IMP, E637) and disodium guanylate (GMP, E631) and is often used where the blend contains naturally occuring glutamic acid through commonly used ingredients like Paprika, Chillies, Garlic, Cheese, Soya & basically everything which contains protein to produce a very strong umami flavor.
This product is 100% Vegetarian & Kosher/Halal/US FDA/ISO 9001:2000/FSMS ISO 22000:2005 certified.
A mixture of 98% monosodium glutamate and 2% E635 has four times the flavor-enhancing power of monosodium glutamate (MSG) alone.
